Whether playing guitar is one of your New Year’s resolutions or on your life’s bucket list, this class will get you going with guitar fundamentals. We will focus on using our ears, eyes, hands and minds to apply what we learn in order to have fun playing music. Specifically, we’ll learn how to hold and tune your guitar, practice basic chords and strumming patterns, and learn to easily play melodies using the tablature method. No previous experience with the guitar or music is required. This class may be repeated for additional experience. Music stands are optional.
