Advanced EV3 Lego Robotics

ATTENDANCE IN THE BASIC EV3 LEGO ROBOTICS CAMP DURING 2024 IS REQUIRED TO TAKE THE ADVANCED EV3 CAMP – NO EXCEPTIONS WILL BE ALLOWED.

In Advanced EV3 Lego Robotics, students will use Lego Mindstorm EV3 robotics kits to design and build programmable robots with motors, sensors, gears, wheels, axles and other technical components. They will learn how to understand and interpret two-dimensional drawings to create three-dimensional models and gain practical, hands-on experience using mathematical concepts such as estimating and measuring distance, time and speed.

In addition to working in a fun and immersive environment, students will learn gracious professionalism from the Magic Valley's own award-winning 5026 Tesla Coils FTC Robotics Team. 

*Camp will end with a mini competition Friday afternoon beginning at 2:00 PM. Family and friends are welcome to come & watch!

**Camp may end earlier or later on Friday depending on how the teams perform in the mini competition.

NOTE: If your child needs any special accommodations to participate, please notify CSI Community Education at least one (1) week before camp begins.
