Where can I find registration forms?

Community Education Course Registration forms are available in the Community Education Department (Fine Arts, #96), in the CSI Registration (Taylor Administration Building), download here. Feel free to print out as many copies as you need.

Registration Fees & Payment

Fees vary and are listed for each course. On occasion, there is supply or material fees for the course payable to the instructor, these fees will be noted in the course description. Course fee payment is expected upon registration. Instructors are not allowed to take registration payment at the class. You may make payment in person, online or via phone.If you do not submit payment upon registration then your spot in the class with not be held. Registrations are granted on a first come-first serve basis.

Registration Confirmation

Please be sure to mark your calendar and assume you are registered. We generally confirm and receipt your registration by email, if one is provided. Your class will be held at the time and place indicated in the brochure unless you are contacted. We will notify you if a class is cancelled or changed.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

CSI Community Education classes are held based on the number of students enrolled and students are required to make a payment at the time of registration. The decision to cancel a class, prior to its beginning is based on the number of persons pre-registered and paid. Students will be notified 24 hours prior to the first session if a class is cancelled. If you are unable to attend, please call (208) 732-6442 to drop the class. Students will be charged for all classes they have registered for unless they drop the class 72 hours prior to the first session.  No refunds or credits will be given on or after the start date of class.

Community Education and Children

In general, the minimum age for participation in Adult Community Education Classes is 16 years of age. Those wishing to enroll children younger than this should call Community Education to request special permission, which may be granted depending upon the class, the child and the instructor. Babies and children of persons enrolling in evening classes are better left at home where they won't get bored or disturb others.

How do I receive a course schedule?

All classes are listed in the general CSI Course Schedule newspaper insert each semester and on the Community Education Website at http://communityed.csi.edu. In addition, this Community Education Catalog will be mailed to all persons who have registered for a Community Education class within the past four semesters. If you did not receive this catalog in the mail but would like to do so, please call the Community Education office at (208) 732-6442.

Classes offered through CSI Community Education Center represent a wide variety of interests, skills and viewpoints held by the instructors who teach them. CSI does not necessarily endorse or sanction the content of each non-credit offering. By registering and submitting payment, you agree to waive and release CSI and its entities from claims or liability arising from this event. You also agree that CSI may use photos or images from the classes without remuneration for promotional and program information.
